Whether you love or hate the fact that vertical video content is all the rage, here are 5 videos you can keep on your camera roll to make putting together reels easier.

ONE
Timelapse of you working - this can apply to whatever work you do!

TWO
Selfie of yourself moving around looking at the camera - basically a moving selfie and it's a nice medium to share copy that is more personal or inspirational.

THREE
Videos of your environment - this could be of your workspace with sunlight streaming in or a close-up of a candle on your altar, pouring a tea, this could be you reading a book in your cosy corner - honestly, the options are endless.

FOUR
Full body shots of you doing something - this kind of blends with three. You could have shots of you just going about any activity in your day that you feel is relevant to your niche like doing your meditating or doing yoga, getting ready for the day, rock climbing or doing something cool!

FIVE
Aesthetic shots in nature - for example filming the sunlight through trees, or the sunset of the ocean, waves lapping, a waterfall or river - I really like to hold the camera still & film something for at least 5 seconds. You can be in the shot or out of the shot. You can easily gather this type of b-roll out in the wild (all of us pretty much do this anyway!).

Having a tripod to get these shots can be really helpful - but honestly, you can get away without one by just placing your camera against something - don't let the blocks get in the way!

If this feels overwhelming - try to make it fun - put aside a Friday afternoon to shoot, make a list of shots you want to get (create a special collection in your saves section to collect specific ideas & inspiration) do what you need to make yourself feel good like your hair or makeup, pick a few outfits that fit your vibe and just get a month or two months worth of b-roll in one go.
